Phenylbutazone Introduction
A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compound. An inhibitor of cyclooxygenase that is also a substrate for peroxidation by cyclooxygenase. Antipyretic analgesics,For fever, headache, arthralgia, neuralgia, dysmenorrhea and active rheumatism, etc.Amidopyrine genus pyrazole ketones non steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, has strong antipyretic analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti rheumatism.
Phenylbutazone Function
Mainly for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis. The large dose of this drug can reduce the reabsorption of urate in the renal tubules and promote the excretion of urate, so it can be used to treat acute gout
Adverse reactions:
1. Common adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal discomfort, sodium retention, edema, and rash;
2. Can also cause diarrhea, dizziness, headache, long-term high-dose gastrointestinal ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding;
3. Occasionally causes hepatitis, jaundice, nephritis, hematuria, exfoliative dermatitis, erythema multiforme, goiter, granulocyte and thrombocytopenia;
